Pedrali warms up the winter season

The Italian company furnishes homes and public spaces with comfort and elegance

With the arrival of the cold season arises the need to be comforted by the embrace of an upholstered armchair or the warmth of a wooden furniture. Pedrali dresses up the winter living with solutions characterised by curves and enveloping silhouettes, giving life to friendly environments in which to spend the holidays with the loved ones or escape from everyday life into oasis of comfort and wellbeing, isolated alcoves to regenerate and prepare for the New Year. Elegant furniture, defined by soft paddings that, thanks to its modularity and customisation, furnishes with style and elegance residential and contract settings, such as hotels, offices and public spaces, making them welcoming all over the year. The refined colour combinations of the warm and enveloping fabrics paired with the wooden and metal frames, warm up the atmosphere.

Ultra-soft padding creating a pleasant cocoon effect, as in the case of Ila armchair, designed by Patrick Jouin. Thanks to the use of curved, flexible lines, the silhouette of Ila expresses an extraordinarily generous welcome. The smooth, taut exterior in rigid polyurethane almost cocoons the user in its large volumes, allowing a moment of relaxation and escape from everyday life. This sense of protection is augmented by the inner side of the backrest and seat in flexible polyurethane foam, which adapts to the human body and envelops it just like a soft embrace. The version with a large headrest accentuates the sense of escaping from everyday life and adds character to the armchair. Ila is available with a geometric and swivelling central base in the shape of a cone section, whose inclined design evokes dynamism and lightness, with four-legs steel tube frame, in different colours and finishes, or with four-legs solid ash wood frame.

Designed by Sebastian Herkner and drawing inspiration from the concepts of elegance and sophistication, Blume collection features soft and rounded shapes and owes its distinctive appearance to the sophisticated flower-shaped profile in extruded aluminium. An extremely comfortable collection, in which the slender frame and the soft, generous polyurethane foam are harmoniously combined. A collection appreciated for its meticulous attention to detail, which features special locations such as Eataly, which opened its doors in the Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping mall, or LAQUA countryside by Antonino Cannavacciuolo, an intimate resort located near Sorrento, or the mamì restaurant at the five-star Meliá Hotel in Milan.

But also, for the Sachi Park restaurant in Giza, internationally acclaimed for its authentic and renowned Mediterranean fusion menu. Ester armchairs welcome guests in an intimate and elegant atmosphere also at Anima, the restaurant of the iconic Milano Verticale urban design hotel by Una Esperienze designed by Vudafieri-Saverino Partners. Jouin Manku Studio also took part in the renovation project of a renowned monumental city complex which in 1756 housed the Royal Stables in Strasbourg’s historic La Petite France district. The common spaces of Les Haras Hotel are flooded with light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows and are equipped with Héra armchairs, designed by Patrick Jouin, that embodies the concept of lightness fusing it with comfort. The real star here is wood, which the French designer chooses to preserve by giving it an extremely delicate, pure and fluid form.

Last but not least, two armchairs that have made comfort and cosiness their essence: Vic and Jazz. Vic, designed by Patrick Norguet, draws inspiration from classic mid-century armchairs. A collection featured by a curved backrest raised from the seat, which creates a lightness sensation. It has been included in the new Porsche Experience Center located in Franciacorta and in the Rove Expo 2020 Hotel, the only hotel in the heart of Expo in Dubai. Here we also find Jazz, characterised by harmony of shapes, ergonomics and elegance are.
