Laser Blade XS, the smallest linear downlight, launched in 2017, evolves to provide new and innovative application solutions. Thanks to the brand new pendant – available in ceiling-mounted and very low voltage track versions – it is now possible to customise spaces using minimal and miniaturised luminaires. Surgical precision in light diffusion, ultra-compact dimensions, extreme visual comfort, light source invisibility and a wide range of shapes remain the distinctive features of the product. The miniaturisation characteristic to Laser Blade XS does not only apply to the luminaire, but also to the components, track and supports. The latest generation LED technology coupled with the study of materials, optics and applications, have allowed iGuzzini to use every precious millimetre and eliminate anything superfluous.
Laser Blade XS Pendant
The product has a square cross-section starting at just 26mm, which houses the driver. Available in three different sizes, two heights (for the single module) and two types of optics (flood and wide flood), the Laser Blade XS Pendant is perfect for meeting aesthetic, lighting and space-integration requirements, having a luminous flux ranging between 170 and 1215 lumens. The light is directed and maximised through a micro optical assembly that uses the iGuzzini-patented Opti Beam technology to achieve a well-defined beam, with no double-ring effect, and extraordinary visual comfort, partly due to the fact that the LED source is hidden from view. The Laser Blade XS pendant is available in white or black finish, in terms of the luminaire body, and in white, black, gold, and burnished chrome finish, in terms of the rasters. The pendant is fitted using a ceiling mounting base. The Laser Blade XS pendant is suitable for hospitality & living as well as retail environments.
Ceiling-mounted Laser Blade XS
This version is ceiling-mounted and has either a remote or an integrated driver. The remote-driver version has a parallelepiped body with a rectangular cross-section whose fixed side measures 26mm; it is 50mm high and 26mm - 271mm long. The integrated driver version is 200mm high and has a square cross-section. The ceiling-mounted Laser Blade XS features many types of optics and is available in high contrast (flood), wall washer and general lighting versions (including the General Lighting Pro solution), providing constant visual well-being in all versions, with luminous flux levels ranging from 170 to 2350 lumens. The light is directed and maximised through a micro optical assembly that uses the iGuzzini-patented Opti Beam technology to achieve a well-defined beam, with no double-ring effect, and extraordinary visual comfort. The ceiling-mounted Laser Blade XS is available in white or black finish, in terms of the luminaire body, and in white, black, gold, and burnished chrome in terms of the rasters. Track-mounted Laser Blade XS
The very low voltage track version is suitable for a multitude of applications: from a single adjustable spotlight (+-90°, 355°), to a double version sharing the same adapter, through to linear modules of different lengths, or pendant versions available in three sizes. Miniaturisation (of the luminaire, components and track), chromatic accuracy, energy efficiency, high visual comfort, wide range of light distributions, high uniformity and precision, with luminous flux levels from 170 to 1570 lumens, are the characteristics of the product. In addition, the installation of the track-mounted Laser Blade XS allows maximum flexibility and control of each luminaire through converters that send individual signals via the DC Powerline, including dimming of individual luminaires without additional wiring. The very low voltage track is also intelligent: it uses integrated beacons to send notifications via Bluetooth, thus personalising the customer experience.
The track-mounted Laser Blade XS is available in white or black finish, in terms of the luminaire body, and in white, black, gold, and burnished chrome in terms of the rasters. The product is installed on a very low voltage track. The track-mounted Laser Blade XS is suitable for hospitality & living as well as retail environments.
